Day 21 - Reflect: Are you ready?

It's the final countdown. 5 days to go! Are you ready? 20 days ago, we started a journey. Much like the Wise Men, the Shepherds, and all those that travelled during that first Christmas, we are nearly there. Today, we think about the wise men. How far they travelled. How insightful they were to not only know but also recognise the coming of Christ. We think of the wisdom they showed and their boldness to not go back to Herod - which would have been terrifying.

We also think about ourselves. I wonder if you think for a moment. How has this advent period been different? What have you done to share the news of the light of the world? I wonder, how you come? Are you ready?

Reflect today: What has been different about your advent this year? How can you use these last few days for maximum impact? Listen to the music of the song which we started this journey with, and reflect on these things.

Dear Lord,

Thank you for blessing me this advent season. Please help me to use these remaining days leading up to the birth of Christ the way you want.
